Just a thought

Posted by No Filter Post on 09:46 with No comments
Last week I have decided to maintain regularity in posts here , but then again after posting some post then again discontinued. I have two major problem in order to write a blog post, first I couldn't find a nice topic to write about and second the language. One of the reason to start this blog was to improve my writing ability.  Last year when I started the blogging then I thought I will maintain a regularity at least one post per week.
Last week I given pgee for IIITH , while filling the form I'd decided that I will prepare for exam but at the end gave exam without any preparation. Now all hope on low cut off or almost impossible.
I have decided to start building some projects maybe games of my own. So far progress in that is almost nothing.
It frustrates me a lot why I can't make regularity with my own thing.

Today i was just checking phaser game engine. I followed Flappy bird clone tutorial form LessMilk, and tweaked a little in the game, added touch support in it.

I also compiled it with phonegap for android but its performance is very slow on my phone, though I'm not certain if I missed something.

I uploaded the game on my dropbox folder. Click here to play

Blogging

Posted by No Filter Post on 22:26 with No comments
I started this blog last year at that time my aim was to write about of myself , my works and the world around me. In the start for few days I posted blog frequently then lost the track. On 28 December I bought a domain for it and then posted few post but again couldn't manage to maintain a regularity. Recently I viewed some other people blog , they post on regular basis it inspired me , maybe I will be posting regularly from now.
One problem while writing a blog post is that fear what if someone read my blog and found so many mistakes as I'm not good at writing, basically a fear of what others will feel on my post. Then I was reading blog lessmilk.com where he talked about his blogging experience how he improved his writing skills even he got some job offers because of his blogs. Even Jeff Atwood of coding horror mentioned mentioned his blog experience in his recent post. Few more blogs like new2code.com and thehopefulwebdev.com also inspired me a lot I have followed these guys on Twitter and they regularly talk about their work on their blogs. And yes they have followed me back on Twitter.
Maybe after all this inspiration I will maintain a regularity in posts on this blog.

I, As a programmer so far

Posted by No Filter Post on 09:37 with No comments
Now its been almost a year working since i'm as  software developer. I think I should write something about it.
In the past 10-12 month I have learned a lot. During all this time I have been mostly working with HTML5, JavaScript. Earlier I worked two html 5 games in impactjs game engine but latter in this January I got to work on a flash based game and learned a little actionscript. I also worked a little on a wpf application and implemented some xaml animation in that.
So as of now I have worked on HTML5, JavaScript, action script, java and little c#, ohhh that's good set of programming language, I believe.
When I was student then I was told every time learn a programming language completely and I tried it along with few friends. We tried learning Java , we used to write some small program but never tried build something more than a address book or calculator. That's what I did wrong in those time. That time I was not aware about forums like stack exchange or GitHub. But things changed a lot in passed 1 and half years.
Today I think I didn't managed to program in college days because I was not very much curious about programming . now I regularly read many coding blogs and tech news. Best blog I ever read is codinghorror.com of Jeff Atwood. He writes very well about his works on the blog , he is very inspiring one of his post about programming love it or leave it and many more inspired me a lot. I would recommend every aspiring programmer to visit codinghorror once it is really worth reading.
I think one can't become a good programmer till he is not passionate about it, technology is changing everyday so you can't stuck on a particular language or technology you have to look on the latest one. So the reading blogs tech news etc is the must for a programmer you can't skip them.
There are many people who are very good at some particular language and oops concept but they are not good programmer because knowing some concept can't help you much to become good programmer. Programming is an art of creating beautiful and awesome software's, so its need passion.

Something strange

Posted by No Filter Post on 11:40 with No comments
This post is about something what I find little strange.
A farmer who produces the most important thing is the poorest.
A Teacher who teaches his students and gives them ability to achieve something in life is also poor.
But film star like SRK Salman who actually does nothing but are richest.
Why is it like so the person who produce most important thing is underpaid but who does produce least important things are overpaid.
Though can't generalize everyone but in most cases its true.
Its not like that those who are overpaid have less talent than others , but I think they one extra talent of selling their works.

Now its been one and half year since I'm working in IT.  During this witnessed some good thing and some bad. Once when I didn't had job at that time i was worried when i heard Infosys boss Narayan murty said: ''most graduates are not employable". But then got job and improved myself day by day. Now I can say if most graduates out there are not employable then most companies out there are also not worth for working.
Don't know why all these Indian software services companies, who carry same typical Indian attitude then why they need talented employable graduates after all they need only those person who works for them for 8-9 hours everyday and never ask for anything in return.
Last week I was offered a position in a software company, How they talked to me broke my heart. First they will proudly tell you salary is not the problem then they will try hard to negotiate it with you  on as low as you are going to work on MNREGA scheme. And Earlier I was contacted by one more company they were even more funny, They were service company, their way of talking just reminded me peoples from my village full of "chalta hai" attitude. They were really funny I'm not good writer so cant express efficiently.
The way they explain job profile is also interesting, We have tons of interesting project, we also make android apps(this is common in every company nowadays ) basically job description consist of hot technologies, and actual work is little different.
OK, I agree salary is not important at all but then remember your employee also have a life he is not machine and here in this world nothing is free.
Even though I didn't had much experience to judge and generalize all this things but I would its not all right. Its very hard for average talented student to make a good career.  Probably every sector, every field have same fate, Its is all about saying "yes sir with a fake smile".
I see only two possible outcome .. Either choose to work 8-9 hours everyday for whole life in some company or take some risk and try to do something different or if lucky enough to born like Rahul Gandhi then just chill and enjoy.

Freebies schemes of Govt

Posted by No Filter Post on 01:49 with 1 comment
Our policy maker either  did't know what we the people of India want or they just don't want to deliver what we want.

Our constitution and government have made many laws and schemes for us. But very few policies are really helpful to us.

With AAP winning in Delhi they have given birth to new kind of politics. They have made so many enticing promises Free water, Half electricity bills etc. I'm not sure is it feasible for them in long run or not. I don't believe giving something to someone free. After all government will do it by tax pares money, who pay tax for better infrastructure. And by spending money in such policies I think government is gonna waste a lot of money. Also if there is less availability of water in compare to demand then how they are gonna arrange that water.

Anyways I appreciate that AAP is at least trying to  fulfill their promises , Its first time we are discussing a party' manifesto after election.

Almost parties has same tendency in policy making like FSB give food for free, Akhilesh' free laptop to every student, every government have tons of such free gifting policies thus resulting in inaction and laziness.

If they will continue such policies then one day will come when most lazy people gonna get some caste/income/religion certificates (basic criteria to get those benefits)  and will enjoy the freebies.

Policy maker should make something to conclude everyone to production this will increase country GDP and they these people will be able to buy everything what they want. Those who don't wanna work even god can not help them. they are born to remain beggar for whole life.

Presently we didn't have a single scheme which didn't asks your caste and religion and they say we are secular country and expect from people they will be secular. So how is that possible if I have to fill my caste religion in every form, Impossible. By such system you cant achieve secularism you will get pseudo-secularism only.

Narendra Modi CM of Gujarat have implemented some good project. Like others he have not make any free gifting scheme. His some projects like Asia' biggest Solar plant, endorsement to business in his state, City development plans like they have plan to make gandhinagar a solar city, sabarmati river front and many more. These schemes are really good he is investing money in production and these projects gonna serve the people for a long time. Peoples are being encouraged to work.

And Now he is make Statue of Unity , that is gonna be world' tallest. It will cost 2000 crore. Many will say its waste of money but in reality its not because this thing is gonna be a tourist attraction in upcoming time if implemented correctly. then it will generate more revenue from that and will provide job to locality. And Its will be tallest means one more pride for country.

Since our independence we have made very few thing like this. Tajmahal was not waste, Eiffel tower is not waste, and many more so this is also not waste. In fact these type of thing are very important to build. It will be part of history.
