what after doing engineering from a tier-3 college?

I studied in a tier-3 engineering college of UPTU (GBTU) . Only advantage of studying there was its education cost which is very low, and It didn't required very hard work to get admission in this college or any tier-3 engineering college all across India. If you have passed 10+2 in science stream then you are welcome in such colleges. In last few years number of such colleges increased exponentially. In UP only there are almost 500 colleges and seriously all of them lacks in providing quality education.

Most student passed out from these colleges didn't get job after completing degree . There are two main reason and everyone knows that, 1- we are producing more engineers than demand, 2- These engineers didn't have skills. Many notable personality have quoted many time that in our country 80% graduates are not employable. they lacks in knowledge.
Here in colleges we use to clear exams that is our ultimate aim in the colleges. their is no tie ups of college with industries, no facility of getting internship, no idea of industry.

There are lots of problem which is almost impossible to solve. Government should do something about this. These colleges are ruining the future of our youth. Its serious problem . At the end you will get degree 'bachelor of technology' and you can proudly write before your name 'Engineer' but in reality you are not.

We all know functioning of our government so we cant expect anything immediately from them but students who are studying in such colleges should realize it and should prepare themselves for future. Self education is only thing which can help them. they need to learn concepts , learn about industry by them selves because teacher in these type of college are also useless. So you can not rely on them.

Its Internet age, Google is always there with you, will help on any topic. Its our best friend who never leaves us. Social media which gives us power to connect anyone from anywhere in the world.  But sadly In our country most of Indian thinks these social networking website are dating sites. We use to waste our valuable time in such sites , even i have seen many people for whom internet means facebook.
Internet is very big thing there are lots of forums where you can ask your question can debate on topics and can get the knowledge.

While my graduation I never realized these things, In college days sometime we use to discuss what we will be do after degree, do we manage get placement or not, lot of questions like this. We were scared a little when we got to know most of the our seniors didn't get job. We talked about it but never tried to find out why they didn't get job. Even after completion of our degree and during last days of college we didn't thought about it.
So After completing engineering almost 2-3 months later we decided to move metro cities. everyone was looking at some jack to get job . I moved to Mumbai. and there I was completely alone no friends so It was very much boring in starting here. Since then I'm still learning things which I skipped in graduation.

I have found an interesting post on quora which is about condition of education in tier -3 engineering colleges. Its good read .

Ignoring a problem is not gonna work, Its better to know what the problem is, and try to solve that.
